Threads of Change is the Cultural Engagement Lab’s electoral campaign that unites movement groups, organizers, artists, writers, and influencers from diverse backgrounds to create art and movements that weave a rich tapestry of stories that fosters dialogue and support election mobilizing. This campaign aims to uplift the voices of BIPOC voters using data storytelling and art.
With this campaign, we use data-driven artistry to communicate and visualize stories where the people are the heroes of their own community, advancing narratives of interdependence and collaboration. We believe in the power of stories to shape and form culture and want to tell a new story of democracy, and the way to do that is to use art to make it tangible and connected to the things they care about.
